Wayflyer, a revenue-based financing platform for e-commerce brands, partnered with Forme to hire its first VP of Marketing. With a small, early-stage team and ambitions to scale both self-serve and product-led growth channels, the business needed a hands-on leader to build a scalable, high-impact marketing function from scratch.
The brief called for a marketing operator with deep expertise in demand generation, field marketing, and content—someone capable of balancing a sales-led model with inbound growth. Crucially, the role required experience shaping multi-channel GTM strategies in data-driven environments, ideally within SMB-focused fintech or e-commerce enablement platforms.
Forme focused on candidates with Series A–C experience who had scaled teams, built marketing engines, and influenced cross-functional growth strategies. The appointed leader brought a rare combination of creativity, analytical rigour, and operational depth—positioning Wayflyer for sustainable, demand-led growth.
